Job Summary

Our client is a leading prestigious, innovative, and rapidly growing real estate company based in Nairobi, Kenya. They are seeking a qualified and experienced Site Engineer to oversee daily site operations, supervise construction activities, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and according to approved specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site.
• Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and project timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support on site.
• Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment utilization.
• Conduct inspections and ensure adherence to project requirements.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in construction or real estate development projects.
• Strong technical and site management knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and engineering-related software.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Core Competencies

• Experience in residential, commercial, mixed-use, or large-scale real estate development projects.
• Candidates based in Mombasa are highly preferred.
• Strong professional ethics and ability to work in multicultural project environments.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and demanding site conditions. Top of Form
