Key Responsibilities:

● Create high-quality video and animation content to support BrighterMonday Kenya’s marketing campaigns, brand communications, and product launches.

● Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Sales) to conceptualise and execute visual storytelling strategies that capture brand identity and engage our audience.

● Translate creative briefs into video storyboards, animations, and motion design elements that convey complex ideas clearly and visually appealingly.

● Edit raw footage, create and incorporate motion graphics, sound effects, and other media elements to produce polished final outputs.

● Ensure all visual materials adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent look and feel across channels.

● Identify and propose innovative content ideas and approaches to elevate BrighterMonday Kenya’s brand presence and audience engagement.

● Maintain an organised library of video and animation assets, ensuring content is up to date and easily accessible.

● Stay updated on industry trends, emerging design tools, and best practices, proactively offering suggestions to improve our video and animation offerings.

● Collaborate with external production teams or freelancers when necessary to expand content capabilities and meet project deadlines.

● Support cross-functional teams with design needs beyond video and animation, as required (e.g., static designs, graphic layouts).

Qualifications and Skills:

● Demonstrable experience in creating and editing video content, motion graphics, and animations using tools such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software

● Strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics, animation, and video editing expertise

● Solid knowledge of graphic design principles, typography, and brand storytelling

● Familiarity with video production processes, including lighting, shooting, and sound editing

● Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

● A keen eye for detail, ensuring quality and consistency in all design deliverables

● Ability to translate creative briefs into compelling visual narratives

● Proactive team player with a passion for creative problem-solving and continuous learning Collaboration:
