Job description & requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport staff, clients, goods, or materials to designated locations.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals and deliveries.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of assigned vehicles at all times.
- Monitor fuel levels and arrange refueling when necessary.
- Report accidents, damages, breakdowns, or mechanical issues promptly.
- Ensure all vehicle documents, licenses, insurance, and inspection records are up to date.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
- Load and unload goods or assist passengers when required.
- Observe all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Plan routes effectively to avoid delays and minimize travel time.
- Ensure the security and safety of passengers, cargo, and company property during transportation.
- Respond professionally and courteously when interacting with clients, staff, and the public.
- Support other operational duties as assigned by management.
