JOB TITLE: MOTORBIKE DELIVERY RIDER
NATURE OF JOB: FULL TIME
SALARY: KSHS.18,000
JOB LOCATION: INDUSTRIAL AREA
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver goods promptly and safely to customers within Nairobi and surrounding areas.
- Plan and follow efficient routes using strong knowledge of Nairobi road networks.
- Verify delivery details (addresses, contact persons, invoices) before dispatch.
- Ensure goods are handled carefully to prevent damage or loss.
- Collect payments where required and issue receipts accordingly.
- Obtain customer signatures or proof of delivery.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and submit daily reports.
- Conduct daily motorbike inspections (fuel, oil, tires, brakes, lights, etc.).
- Keep the motorbike clean and ensure it is serviced as required.
- Immediately report accidents, delays, mechanical issues, or incidents.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience as a delivery rider
- Strong knowledge of Nairobi routes
- Valid riding license with a clean driving record
- Professional, responsible, and punctual
- Ability to properly maintain and take care of the motorbike and delivered products
