Photographer

Salary: KES 35,000 gross per month

Role Summary:

We are looking for a creative and technically proficient Photographer to join our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality visual content that brings our clients' brands to life. From product photography and corporate events to lifestyle shoots and campaign assets, your work will directly impact how our clients are perceived in the market. You will work closely with the creative director, art directors, and content creators to ensure every image meets the highest aesthetic and commercial standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, set up, and execute professional photoshoots for a variety of clients and industries, including product, portrait, event, and lifestyle photography.
• Operate and maintain professional camera equipment, lighting setups, and accessories to ensure optimal image quality.
• Edit, retouch, and enhance photographs using industry-standard software (Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, etc.) to meet brand guidelines and project specifications.
• Collaborate with the creative team to interpret briefs and develop visual concepts that align with campaign objectives.
• Manage and organize digital assets, ensuring all images are properly catalogued and stored for easy retrieval.
• Stay up-to-date with current photography trends, techniques, and emerging technologies to continuously improve output.
• Ensure all work is delivered within agreed timelines and meets client expectations.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 1–3 years of professional photography experience, preferably in a commercial, agency, or studio environment.
• A strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating proficiency in various photography styles and editing capabilities (MUST attach portfolio with application).
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Lightroom and Photoshop.
• Solid understanding of lighting techniques, composition, colour theory, and camera operation.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
