DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plumbing Installation & Maintenance
- Install and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, tanks, and pumps
- Service and repair water supply and drainage systems to ensure proper functionality
- Carry out routine preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and system failures
Filtration Systems Specialist Duties
- Install, configure, and service water filtration and purification systems
- Monitor water quality performance and adjust systems for optimal output
- Clean, replace, and maintain filtration components and media
Fault Diagnosis & Repairs
- Inspect systems to identify leaks, blockages, pressure, or contamination issues
- Diagnose faults using appropriate tools and apply effective repair solutions
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing and filtration breakdowns
Technical Interpretation & Planning
- Read and interpret plumbing drawings, layouts, and system schematics
- Assist in planning installation layouts for new or upgraded systems
- Ensure all work aligns with technical specifications and standards
Compliance, Safety & Quality Control
- Follow plumbing codes, safety guidelines, and environmental standards
- Ensure proper handling of tools, equipment, and filtration materials
- Deliver high-quality workmanship with fully tested installations
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Report major faults and recommend system improvements
- Track materials used and request supplies when needed
Client & Site Interaction
- Communicate progress and technical updates to clients or supervisors
- Provide basic guidance on system use and maintenance
- Maintain professionalism across all work sites and interactions
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Certificate in Plumbing or related field
- Proven hands-on experience as a plumber (preferably 2+ years)
- Specialized experience in filtration or water treatment systems
- Strong knowledge of plumbing tools, materials, and safety practices
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and precision in work
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physical stamina and ability to work in varied environments
