Summary**

The

candidate should possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience

in the paint or coatings manufacturing industry and demonstrate the

ability to manage production efficiency, safety, quality standards,

and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in paint manufacturing or coatings industry.
• Proven experience in managing production operations within a paint manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of paint formulations, batching, mixing, grinding, tinting, and packaging processes.

**Key

Responsibilities**

• Oversee daily paint manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are achieved efficiently and safely.
• Manage production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, formulations, and manufacturing specifications.
• Monitor plant performance, productivity, downtime, and wastage reduction initiatives.
• Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, warehouse, quality assurance, and supply chain teams.
• Implement and maintain safety, health, and environmental compliance standards.
• Lead, train, and supervise production staff and shift teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and cost control.
• Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of production equipment and machinery.
• Prepare production reports, KPIs, and operational analysis for management review.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of quality systems, safety standards, and production planning.
• Strong communication and team management abilities.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience in lean manufacturing and process optimization.
• Strong analytical and operational management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Knowledge of ISO and quality compliance standards is an added advantage.
