Job description & requirements
Duties and Responsibilities
Operating oil processing machines
Ensuring all machines are in good condition by liaising with supervisors and Shift Incharge
Ensuring only good fruits are on the floor for processing
Coordinating with boiler technician to ensure a constant flow of water to produce
Maintaining machine cleanliness during and after production
Keeping proper production records
Attending to various maintenance issues liaising with supervisors and the Shift Incharge
Developing a maintenance schedule for all equipment
Keeping the plant manager updated in matters involving the machinery
Undertaking special maintenance of the motors, decanter, separator, and boiler
Requirements
Minimum diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution
At least 4 years’ experience in the manufacturing sector, with 3 years as a Production Technician or equivalent
Experience in sugar, tea, or juice production companies is highly encouraged
