JOB PURPOSE
The Program Coordinator will spearhead the Fistula program planning and coordination, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with organizational goals. The position holder will serve as a liaison, spearheading effective communication, and collaboration with various stakeholders. They will be responsible for managing program budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility and the successful realization of the program objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Working closely with the Program Manager, develop and refine program goals, objectives, and strategies.
2. Implement program activities as per the program timelines and milestones.
3. Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including other organizations, agencies, and service providers.
4. Serve as a liaison between program stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication, and addressing inquiries and concerns.
5. Engage with the community, participants, and partners to promote program awareness and participation.
6. Budget preparation and Monitoring, track expenditures, and optimize resource allocation.
7. Coordinate logistics, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to support program activities.
8. Ensure programs comply with legal and organizational standards, preparing regular documentation for internal and external review.
9. Develop promotional materials, facilitate outreach activities, and represent the organization in relevant forums.
10. Implement systems for collecting and analysing data related to program outcomes and participant feedback.
11. Generate comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key program metrics and achievements.
12. Maintain records, schedule meetings, and handle documentation related to program activities.
13. Identify opportunities for program enhancement and implement improvements based on feedback and evaluation findings.
14. Be the custodian of data acquired during the program and uphold confidentiality
15. Prepare NDAs for program data that might be provided to stakeholders.
16. Any other duties that may be allocated by the Supervisor.
KEY OUTPUTS/ DELIVERABLES
- Comprehensive program plans detailing objectives, timelines, and resources.
- Regular and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Meaningful community engagement initiatives demonstrating increased participation.
- Accurate financial records and reports related to program expenses and revenues.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Academic and Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Development studies, Project Management, Community Development Studies or related Social Science Discipline.
Level of Experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in development projects or programs
Competencies
- Enthusiastic and connects well with people of all backgrounds, and able to inspire and motivate.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, effective in representation and liaison with external parties.
