Job description & requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Operate tractors and other agricultural machinery safely and efficiently.
- Perform land preparation, cultivation, planting, spraying, and harvesting activities.
- Conduct daily inspections and basic maintenance of assigned equipment.
- Report mechanical faults and coordinate repairs when necessary.
- Ensure proper use and storage of fuel, lubricants, and farm equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of machinery usage and maintenance activities.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Support other farm operations as directed by management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum KCSE Certificate.
- Valid Kenyan Driving Licence – Class G (Mandatory).
- Minimum of 2 years' experience operating tractors and agricultural machinery.
- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and record-keeping skills.
- High level of integrity, responsibility, and attention to detail.
