General Purpose
Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking Graduate Trainee to join its Production Department. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience, develop technical skills, and build a career in the food manufacturing industry under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Location: Nairobi | Stipend: Ksh. 30,000
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support daily food production operations to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes.
- Learn and apply company production procedures, quality standards, and food safety requirements.
- Assist in monitoring production processes and reporting any quality or operational issues.
- Work closely with production, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to achieve operational targets.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Observe, learn, and receive mentorship from experienced supervisors and technical staff.
- Comply with all company policies, food safety regulations, health and safety standards, and quality procedures.
- Complete assigned projects and training programs within the stipulated timelines.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the production supervisor.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science & Technology or Analytical Chemistry.
- Minimum of Second Class Honours (Upper/Lower). First Class Honours will be an added advantage.
- At least 1 year post-graduation exposure in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, or Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) will be an added advantage.
